AIB courses are offered in flexible formats that fit the way you work and live, and include classroom instruction, independent study, seminars, and now online self-paced and online instructor-led. AIB courses include measurements of learning, and are designed to increase job skills and enhance knowledge. Completion of prescribed courses can lead to industry-recognized AIB diplomas and certificates, or assist in professional licensing requirements. Colleges and universities, at their discretion, may accept the transfer of AIB credits.

Classroom and Independent Study Courses
Classroom courses are led by an experienced industry professional at a local facility and are offered over a period of weeks with assignments and exams as detailed in the course curriculum provided at the first session. Independent Study classes are self-paced with the guidance of an experienced industry professional who will be available to answer questions and provide feedback. Reading, homework assignments, and exams are outlined in the course curriculum provided by the instructor, and are exchanged by e-mail, fax, or mail, according to instructor and student arrangements.

ABA/AIB Instructor-Led Online Courses
These Instructor-led Online Courses are available through the ABA/MBA. The courses are facilitated by an instructor who will guide the students through each lesson and is available to answer questions and provide feedback. Each week, students will receive an assignment over the Internet. Students do not have to be online at a specific time each week; however, student participation and assignments are monitored and must be completed each week.

ABA/AIB Instructor-led Online Courses – How Do They Work?
The courses are facilitated by an instructor who will guide the students through each lesson and is available to answer questions and provide feedback. Each week, students will receive an assignment over the Internet. The assignment will include:
- Reading a chapter in your textbook (provided through the mail before the course begins)
- Completing a short assignment and either forwarding the assignment electronically to your instructor or posting it on the electronic class Discussion Board
- Taking a self-check test
In addition, you will have some assignments where you will collaborate with other students using electronic discussion boards, chat rooms, and e-mail.
The semester length courses will have a mid-term examination and a final examination. These examinations and the self-check quizzes for each assignment will be taken electronically over the Internet. Your overall grade for the class will be based on your performance on the weekly assignments, mid-term examinations and the final examination.
Semester length courses last for 16 weeks including a week devoted to each of the two midterms and the final. Seminars last for 5 weeks. Please check each individual course description for course prices.
