I……………Incomplete
P/F…………..Pass/Fail
W……….…Withdrawal
An “Incomplete” is given at the discretion of the instructor and is only given if a student has completed a majority of the course work but cannot complete the course requirements within the scheduled time. The course work must be completed within ninety days of the final class period or the incomplete reverts to an “F.”
Students may receive a Pass/Fail for any AIB courses that are less than two credit hours. Tuition and textbook fees remain the same.
EXAMINATION POLICY
A written examination MUST be given for all AIB “for credit” courses. Additional examinations or quizzes are left to the discretion of the instructor.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Punctual and regular attendance is required in all AIB courses. Any class session missed reduces learning opportunities. Students are responsible for all missed assignments. Allowing students to complete missed assignments will be at the discretion of the instructor. Unexcused absences will affect the student’s grade. One absence that has not been approved by the instructor will result in a reduction of one full letter grade. For example, one excused absence would drop an “A” to a “B.” Two unexcused absences will result in the reduction of two full letter grades, an “A” to a “C,” and so on.
AIB instructors reserve the right for additional attendance guidelines, which are provided at the first class.
AIB INSTRUCTORS
Instructors are selected for their experience and knowledge. If you are interested in teaching an AIB course, please contact us at AIB@MBCtraining.com, or call (586) 784-4445.
