With Confidence and Professionalism - Program Outline
Myth: Great speakers are born and have little to no anxiety when speaking before an audience. In reality, most people need to spend time learning and developing the basics of speech organization, preparation, delivery and dealing with anxiety. This seminar will help you organize your thoughts and data for maximum impact, develop and use visual aids and deliver what you have prepared, using effective body language techniques.
Staff meetings, Board of Directors presentations, sales meetings, etc., all require speaking in front of a formal or informal group. Do you find your staff meetings burdensome? Do employees find them boring? Do you find yourself repeating the same sales goals and client service strategies time and time again? You will learn ways to plan, and prepare for more effective meetings. You will learn ways to energize yourself and others.
You will be assigned a topic to practice between day one and day two and you will have the opportunity to present it on day two.
