The Executive Management Series is designed for managers that have at least five years management experience. The Executive Management Series provides skills to help managers become more effective leaders. Participants attending The Executive Management Series should already demonstrate proficiency in the fundamental skills of supervision.
The Supervision Series is designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders who would benefit from learning ‘best practices’. The Supervision Series is highly skill based, emphasizing how to coach, how to delegate, etc. The Supervision Series provides a strong foundation for everyday supervisory skills, something that many supervisors are never afforded the opportunity to learn. Just because someone is good at a particular task, doesn’t mean they will know how to manage people effectively! The Supervision Series is often selected by companies to become part of their minimum standards for expected supervisory skills. The series is adopted as part of their core curriculum.
MBC offers both series over a period of time convenient for each client, allowing enough time to apply skills taught in between sessions. Skills are reinforced throughout the series. Participants set personal goals, discuss their progress with their managers and department heads, and include their employees in several assignments.
